Sessions will take place by video call.
I will start our meeting by asking what you hope to achieve by the end of the session. This can help us both to have a clear idea of what we are working towards, and helps make sure you get what you want out of the time spent working together.
My approach is person-centred, which means that our sessions are led by you. You choose what you want to talk about during our time together. I work in an approachable, compassionate way, and aim to help you feel supported and at ease.
During the session I will offer reflections and observations on what you discuss, which can help you to see the situation with more clarity as well as making sure you feel fully understood. I will also ask questions to assist you in exploring your thoughts and feelings and, where appropriate, to challenge your thoughts and consider different perspectives.
We will work together to consider possible options and form a plan for moving forward that feels comfortable for you. This is likely to involve agreeing on work and/or self-reflection for you to complete between sessions. Where appropriate, I may offer education, resources, advice, personal experience and self-disclosure. It is your choice to decide what information to use.
I want to see you succeed, therefore I also stand as a source of accountability to encourage you to fulfil your plans -but don’t worry, I will do this in a way that’s right for you! You will always make the decisions about what actions to take and what we work on together.
Toward the end of the session I will give a brief summary of what we’ve talked about. This will give us an opportunity to see how you feel we are progressing and make sure you have some clear ideas to take away. We can then arrange further sessions if this is right for you.
Number of sessions
The number of sessions needed depends on each individual, the reasons for seeking coaching and the progress made. We will mutually assess progress and arrange further sessions as required. You can choose to end the coaching relationship at any time and are never obligated to book further sessions. You are also welcome to book a single session if you prefer.
30-minute coaching session - £25
This may suit you if you have a clear, defined goal that you wish to work on, you prefer concise communication, or if you’re looking to build manageable coaching conversations into your busy schedule. It can be a useful option for follow-up sessions, to ensure regular accountability to help you reach your goals, and may suit those wishing to keep costs down.
50-minute coaching session - £40
Choose a full 50-minute session if you’re looking to explore your thoughts and feelings more thoroughly, if you don’t yet have a clear picture of what you want to achieve, or if you prefer a more in-depth discussion with plenty of time to feel heard and understood.
It is usually appropriate for first sessions to be 50 minutes to allow us to fully explore your objectives and create a plan of action.
Sessions are priced on a pay-as-you-go basis.
Zig Ziglar
Please contact me and let me know that you’re interested in having coaching.
I will contact you to offer you a free 20-minute discovery call via video link. When we have agreed on a suitable date and time I will send confirmation and an invitation link to our virtual meeting.
This 20-minute initial call is not a coaching session, but will allow us to outline your reasons for seeking coaching and what you hope to achieve from the process. It also gives us the opportunity to see if we are a good match for working together. It is entirely free of charge, and there will be no obligation to book coaching if you do not wish to do so.
If you are happy to proceed, we will then agree on a date and time for your first coaching session and I will send an invoice accordingly. This must be paid before the session starts. I will also include my coaching agreement for you to read and sign -please ensure that you do this before our first session.
I look forward to hearing from you!
